Chaughada Progressive English School is our main project.

The school was established in 2015 soon after the earthquake. The school has 2 pre-school classes as well as Grade 1-grade 5. There are 80 children educated by local and international teachers. The school is based on a modern approach to teaching with a child-centered approach. The curriculum is a very interactive one with classes based on activities and project work as well as textbook work. There is daily meditation and creative work is encouraged. The Principal Atula Pongen is a very experienced Montessori trained educator.
